Now this could be a really good use for a QR code.

If a unique QR code is printed on the receipt, the code could be confirmed at the point where the goods are handed over.

Should be simple enough and low cost enough to put together.

It's not really that much of a surprise considering that the whole android ethos is pretty much the opposite of nanny state apple. Caveat emptor. I use a free version of Lookout Mobile Security on my android which scanns apps as they are installed and runs sheduled scans out of hours.

I was really surprised to learn that Android apps aren't screened at all, when you realise what information you carry around on our phones you can understand why they are a target, hopefully tighter checks will be on the way, am not even aware if there are anti-virus apps for my phone.

Funny, we tend to be paranoid about viruses on our PC's and don't think too much about a similar threat for our phones! Luckily, I'm not an app junky, but it's still worth remembering.

I rank family law attorneys as Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3. The Tier 1's are the best attorneys who have lots of staff, contribute money towards elections of family law judges, throw big parties during the holidays, and may have been judges themselves in the past. Certainly, Tier 1 attorneys command a lot of respect in the courtroom but they are very expensive. Tier 2 attorneys are good solid attorneys but don't quite have the prestige of a Tier 1. Generally, a Tier 2 can hold their own even against a Tier 1 especially when the evidence is own their side. A Tier 3 is a God-awful attorney and should be avoided at all costs.

If you live in the states, make sure the private investigator is licensed. There are some pretty severe criminal penalties for persons acting as an unlicensed investigator. If the person is licensed, then a great way to deal with a dishonest investigator is to report them to the Board. The Board has their own investigators and will follow-up on complaints.

Interesting article - It is thought that hair testing has few or no counter measures and is generally reliable; however, I know folks who have passed when I know they were dirty. Keep in mind that one can use drugs and it will NOT show up in a hair test for about 2 weeks later. It takes at least that much time for the hair to grow long enough to be tested to determine the presence of a new substance. Always consider a urinalysis along with a hair test to determine long and short term use.

These calls are fairly frequent with my agency. Folks are very concerned if they are being spied on. I get a few calls a year by spouses wanting to put a nanny cam in the living room of the house to spy on the other spouse. It does happen.
